The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization has announced the lifting of airspace restrictions over the western region of the country. In an official statement released on Tuesday, it was confirmed that western routes, like the eastern airspace, are now ready for operational use around the clock.
With this new arrangement, it has been reported that all necessary infrastructure and operational preparations have been completed for both transit flights passing through Iranian airspace and domestic flights. Furthermore, it was confirmed that all airports across the country may continue their operations within the framework of international aviation regulations and published guidelines.
The organization stated that exceptions remain only for the Kish and Asaluyeh airports in the southern part of the country, noting that these facilities will continue to operate solely between sunrise and sunset.
