Hi everyone! My name is Dorra Ben Amor, and I’m proud to be Tunisian.
Tunisia is a small country with a giant history. It is the land of the legendary Hannibal, the brilliant military commander who crossed the Alps to challenge Rome, and the birthplace of Ibn Khaldun, one of history’s greatest thinkers and the father of modern sociology.
For over 3,000 years, Tunisia has been home to remarkable civilizations: the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs, Ottomans, and many others. Every civilization has left its mark on our culture, architecture, traditions, and cuisine.
Our identity is a beautiful blend of Amazigh (Berber), Arab, Mediterranean, African, and European influences, making Tunisia one of the most culturally diverse countries in North Africa.
I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology and Development, and I’m passionate about sharing the true Tunisia with the world.
