Earthquake in Afghanistan: dozens dead, hundreds injured

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck near the northern Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif this morning.

The Afghan Ministry of Health announced that the number of fatalities has reached 20, with more than 320 people injured. According to a ministry spokesperson, the death and injury toll is expected to rise.
