Instead of the magnificent scenes of 300,000 people standing shoulder to shoulder for Friday prayers, the Islamic world was left to watch the horrifying spectacle of the Mosque being abandoned to desolation and captivity.
A Systematic Paralyzing Operation: The Waqf Rendered Powerless!
The occupation forces have effectively paralyzed the Islamic Waqf Department, the sole guardian of Al-Aqsa. The institution's authorities have been usurped, its personnel locked out, and entry to the vast courtyard of the Mosque has been limited to a tragicomic number: only 25 people.
This brutality—attacking believers who have no weapon but their prostration with stun grenades in front of the Old City walls, dispersing Iftar tables, and obstructing medical units—is a provocation of religious war unparalleled in history. Hiding behind the pretext of "war," the occupier is attempting to imprison the very soul of Al-Aqsa.
Ramadan was a "Pulse-Checking" Experiment: The "Sacrifice" Atrocity is Next!
The fact that such reckless restrictions could be implemented during Ramadan, a period when Muslim presence peaks, has served as a "confidence booster" for the occupation regime. If the Ummah could not prevent this tyranny during Ramadan, it means the door has been opened for every kind of violation during periods when Al-Aqsa is even more vulnerable.
Now, the true major threat is at the doorstep: The Jewish Passover (Pesah). This holiday in April is a strategic target for the fanatical "Temple Groups." These extremists, who for over a decade have sought to drive a dagger into the heart of Islamic sanctity by performing an "animal sacrifice" ritual inside Al-Aqsa, are more dangerous than ever this year. With a figure like Afshalom Peled heading the Jerusalem Police, the possibility of these sacrifice rituals turning into a bloody provocation—with direct state support—is becoming inevitable.
The Illusion of "Reopening": An Announcement of Division!
The occupation administration is expected to announce the "reopening" of Al-Aqsa in the near future. Do not be deceived! This is not good news; it is a poisonous trap. The purpose of this reopening is to define Al-Aqsa as an "equal" space between Muslims and Jewish settlers; in other words, to officially divide the Mosque temporally and spatially. While the occupier opens the door it closed itself, it is actually creating a legal and military corridor for the "sacrifice" atrocities of the settlers.
Final Warning: Al-Aqsa Cannot Be Liberated Without Mass Deterrence!
The only power that can stop this insidious occupation plan is a collective popular will that will shake the fragile internal front of the occupation. A wave of total resistance rising in and around Jerusalem is the only language that can force the occupier to pay the price for this state of madness. The occupation regime must understand that every hand reaching for the sanctity of Al-Aqsa will trigger an explosion that will set their own existence on fire.
Al-Aqsa is at its darkest threshold in history. If this Ummah cannot move past theoretical condemnations and build a practical deterrence, the total loss of Al-Aqsa is only a matter of time.
Now we must ask ourselves: Are we ready to see that ominous day when our first Qibla is transformed into a Jewish temple? If not, to remain silent today is to be a partner in the destruction of Al-Aqsa!
